Message :I personally would suggest that you get a "beater" car for your first couple years of driving. After a couple years, if you and your parents feel comfortable with your driving experience, skill, and maturity, then it is a good time to trade up to something like a 300ZX. From there, you get to "learn" the car itself without trying to learn the finer points of driving as well.
:Honestly, there is really no replacement for experience (except perhaps incredibly good luck), and in the first couple of years of driving you will come into many situations that are "sink or swim". If you get a few dings or dents in a relatively cheap and older car, then it's no big deal, and often repairs will be cheaper and easier. In addition, it will give you time to learn the ins-and-outs of driving in general without the distractions and temptations that come with higher horsepower, and without the high cost of repair and maintenance on these cars. (Not to mention insurance premiums... ouch!)

do u suggest a manual car?? so i get the hang of a manual.....
